UNFORTUNATELY, THIS RUN HAS HAD TO BE CANCELLED ONCE AGAIN DUE TO THE SEVERE WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE RUN AREA.
Mike Wade has arranged a run to Beaudesert. The run sheet is as follows:
Start at the car park opposite Fitzy's Restaurant Waterford under a big tree (just over the Logan River on the left), meet 09.00am and depart 09.30am.
Travel via underpass of Beenleigh Road and left onto Waterford / Tamborine Road.
Turn left onto fifth road on left (Dairy Creek Rd) up to steep T junction.
Turn right until next junction and turn right onto Hein Road.
Follow this road for some distance and go through "dog's leg" at Buccan up to a T junction.
Turn right onto Latimer Road and keep following the road straight though "round about" and road changes name to Quinzeh Creek Road. Continue until next T junction at Beenleigh / Tamborine Road.
Turn right and follow until Cedar Creek junction and turn right (Cedar Creek Hall on your left as you turn)
Travel straight over Albert River bridge and take next left onto Plunkett Poad.
At next T junction turn left onto Logan Village / Tamborine Road and continue to Tamborine Village Community Hall on your left.
Turn into car park for morning tea. (arrive +/- 10.15am depart +/- 11.00am)
Turn right out of car park onto Logan Village / Tamborine Road and continue to major traffic light junction.
Turn left onto Camp Cable Road and continue to fourth road on left Edelsten Road and turn onto this road.
Follow this road to "round about" and turn left onto Mundoolun Road.
Follow this road to T junction at Tamborine / Beaudesert Road and turn left.
Follow this until major junction and turn right onto Cunungra / Gold Coast Road.
Follow this until four way junction and turn right (Biddaddaba) onto Beaudesert Nerang Road.
Follow this until next T junction onto Tamborine / Beaudesert Road and turn left and follow this onto Beaudesert for B Y O lunch at Jubilee Park.
