A visit to AMVCQ member Aaron Clifton's shed at 22 Osborne Terrace, Deception Bay [click on “(map)” which is after the address (to the left of screen in this calendar event) to open the location in Google maps]. Aaron will show us what he’s up to in restoring his A90 Atlantic he rescued from a paddock.
Meet at a park by the beach for morning tea at 9.30am. We will then move to Aaron’s afterwards.
Lunch will be back at the same park after our visit to Aaron’s. BYO as usual, including chairs.
The Park is on the Esplanade, at the boat ramp, where there are toilets, tables and some shade, as well as parking. To drive there, turn from Deception Bay Road into Bailey Road and then take the first turn right into Maine Terrace. This will take you to the Esplanade (if you go too far you end up in the Bay). Turn left and drive to the Boat Ramp Park at the end of the Esplanade.
If coming from the Redcliffe end, you could turn into Bay Avenue and then at the big roundabout turn right into Maine Terrace.
Street parking only at Aaron's. Enter via the right side of his house and move to the rear.
