Join Glenn for a 2 day Club run in and around the Mary Valley and Gympie. Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th September 2024
Run details: Saturday 28th September Meet at Cooroy Gymnastics Club at 11:00am
As you enter Cooroy from the south, travel along Myall Street but don't cross the railway line. Stay on the western side of the line and drive through a large roundabout into Maple Street through the town centre which then becomes Mary River Road. Continue until you reach the Cooroy Gymnastics Club at the Cooroy Sporting Complex, Mary River Road, Cooroy, where Glenn will be waiting for us. He will be parked along the road in the shade from about 10.45am

Journey from your location and leave the highway and enter Cooroy, continuing through Cooroy along Elm Street and park in the State Primary School drop off area which keeps us off the main road. Glenn will be there to meet us..
Ahead a leisurely scenic drive through the hills behind Cooroy stopping for lunch at the "Hub At The Ridge" Cafe, 1/8 Jubilee Rd, Carters Ridge,
After lunch you will visit Imbil, Kandanga and Amamoor (Amamoor is where the Gympie Rattler finishes its run and returns to Gympie.)
From Amamoor we rejoin the Mary Valley Highway and continue to Gympie where we hope to visit "Roadside Relics", 265 Brisbane Rd, Gympie.
Make your way to the freshly renovated Great Eastern Motor Inn, 27/29 Geordie Rd, Monkland, Gympie.

Tariff $150 for the night, 12 Rooms side by side have been set aside for our visit.
Sunday morning we meet and greet at 9am at the "Gympie Historic Auto Club" rooms,cnr Rose and Hyne Streets Gympie.
Gympie Club will join us in a planned excursion taking in points of interest in Gympie and surroundings. The Gympie Club may have some lunch ideas, other than that we can make our own arrangements before heading home. Happy Days!
