Visit to Warwick 16/5 to 18/5 Birthday celebrations for the members
turning 80 this year
Run Details
Meet at the car park of the Plainland Hotel at 9am.
Back onto the highway towards Toowoomba.
Take the turnoff towards Gatton.
Through Gatton and about 6 k out take the turnoff towards Clifton.
(Ma Ma Creek Road).
When you get to the New England Highway turn left to Allora and Warwick.
Take the first turn into Allora and stop at the park on the left. This
is the lunch stop. (BYO or buy locally).
After lunch we will visit the Allora Wheel man if he has recovered
from a back operation. After the visit it will be on to Warwick to
book into the motel.
Friday night will be takeaway around the pool at the motel. There is
fish and chips to the right of the motel and Dominos next door to the
left. Chinese is across the road and a 3 minute walk.
Saturday morning about 9am we will travel to Allora to see a
collection of 1930s and 1940s cars which are restored to a high
degree.
Lunch will be your own choice at either Railway Hotel or Cafe.
Remembering there is a dinner at the RSL Saturday night.
After lunch we will travel 5 minutes out of Allora to a collection of
Classics of the 1960's and 1970's, again restored to a high standard.
On Sunday we will travel to Clifton for a surprise and then to the
Irish pub for lunch and then home.

46613488 or 0430877411. The lady is Candice and 10 rooms are on hold
at $140 per night for the 15th and 16th May. Book early as beds in
Warwick get hard to find.
