Austin club Christmas Lunch 2018
The Todd family organized this year’s Christmas get-together at the Woodford Golf Club, on a hot Sunday. Glenn, Andrew and wives put together a fun day’s entertainment with a very Christmassy theme involving a secret Santa theme.
A great variety of presents were exchanged (I received a couple of brilliant black & white photos of an A30 and Austin K8 van taken at the Tara home for abandoned and unloved Austins by Andrew Todd). The golf club put on a good lunch for us, so everyone was happy. Being a hot day, there were plenty of excuses why most of us weren’t in our Austins, but Ken & Desley Carter, Robert La Roche and the Airtons braved it in their Eight, A30 and Westminster repectively. Everyone agreed the Todds had put on a marvelous day.
