Great morning, food and conversation at the annual President's Breakfast!
After a wet and rainy week, we were lucky to have a perfect morning for the President's Breakfast on Sunday, 7 July 2019.
Ken and Desley were there first, getting the place ready for Kev Airton’s famous and not-to-be missed porridge. We had about 25 people and two dogs roll up and we were well spread out on the tables and chairs on the Club-rooms verandah. Eggs, sausages, bacon, tomatoes, toast, orange juice and coffee were provided and all we needed was good conversation which comes naturally with such a gathering. Five Austins were in the line-up; Warwick Rankin’s superb Austin-Healey 3000, two 1800s, A110 Westminster, and an A40 Somerset Convertible. David James also brought along his fabulous looking Valiant. After that, we had a meeting of those going to AOA to try and work out a suitable way via Broken Hill which hopefully will work well.
Again, a big thanks to Kev and Paula for supplying the breakfast and for all those who helped make it another successful day.
