Austins Over Australia 2026 – Maryborough Welcomes You!
The Austin Motor Vehicle Club of Queensland Inc (AMVCQ) is proud to host the 2026 Austins Over Australia (AOA) National Event in the historic city of Maryborough, Queensland, from Wednesday 10 June to Monday 15 June 2026.
This much-anticipated bi-annual gathering promises five memorable days of camaraderie, classic Austins, relaxed country driving, and genuine Queensland hospitality — all set against the rich heritage of the Fraser Coast region.
Raffle
A Raffle is to be conducted during the AOA and drawn at the dinner. Proceeds to go to the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute. Again, our thanks must go to Alan and Joy Hodges who have made 2 beautiful quilts for us to raffle. $5.00 a ticket. So bring some cash. We will also be able to accept a card (but cash is preferred as there is no fees).
Registration, welcome, meet and greet - Wednesday 10 June, 2pm to 3pm
Registration is at the Tinana Football Club, 62 Gympie Road Maryborough Qld. after registering, stay for the Meet and Greet as it is also here. Bring you chairs and mugs for the tea and or coffee (BYO drinks). Finger food from 3pm to 6pm, tea and coffee provided. Alcohol is BYO.
Come and say G’day, collect your AOA 2026 rally bag and contents, and stay for the meet and greet. A great chance to catch up with fellow Austin owners and friends.
Remember to bring your club Name Badge This will assist the registration helpers.
Tinana Football Club Parking: Enter the club grounds via Gympie Road through the small car park to the sports grounds in front of the club house. Park your car facing the clubhouse. There will be marshals to assist.
Maryborough Street Markets and Port Area - Thursday 11 June
This is a free day to let you explore the historic City of Maryborough. The Markets are in Kent Street next to the Town Hall.
Run 1 - Friday 12 June, 9am
Starting from the Tinana Football Club. Again, assemble vehicles in front of the club house. Departure for the run will be at 9am. This run will be to Hervey Bay. Run details will be in your Rally Bag.
Run 2 - Saturday 13 June, 9am
Again, starting from the Tinana Football Club. assemble vehicles in front of the club house (as for previous day). Departure for the run will again be at 9am. This run will be to Tin Can Bay.
Both runs are easy driving with no mountain ranges.
Display day - Sunday 14 June, 9am to 1pm
This will be at The Brolga Theatre Car Park. The theatre is located on the banks of the Mary River at 5 Walker St, Maryborough and is close to the City Heart.
Rocker Cover Races - Sunday 14 June 10am
Dust off your racer, check the wheel bearings and be ready for racing at the Display Day. Look for the elevated track. Good luck.
