About our club
The Club was formed in July 1981 and celebrated 40 years in July 2021! Watch our video of the history of the club and why people join us.
Our aim is to bring together persons with a common interest in Austin motor vehicles. The Club is administered by a Management Committee and Office-bearers – click here for a current list of committee members and office-bearers. Austins over Australia (Maryborough Qld) 2026
Austin Motor Vehicle Club QLD are hosting Austin's Over Australia 2026 between Wednesday June 3rd and Monday June 8th in Maryborough,QLD

Club Member general meeting
The club meets on the first Thursday of each month , except January, at the Veteran Car Club, 1376 Old Cleveland Road, Carindale Qld, commencing at 7.30 pm. Our general meetings are also live streamed via Zoom, allowing members to participate in club meetings from anywhere (members are provided with the Zoom meeting link a few days prior to the meeting).

Impromptu runs
Club members can organise an impromptu run, per club rules and provided QLD Health COVID-19 rules are also followed. To submit an impromptu run notification, click here.
Austins Over Australia 2024
The next Austins Over Australia (AOA) event will be held in Orange NSW, 7-11 March 2024. You can register for this event. To do so, click here to download the form, which you can email or post to the address inlcuded on the form. Please note that entries close 1 November 2023.
Austins Over Australia 2022
Whilst the original AOA, which was to be held in Port Stephens, NSW was cancelled, the VAR (Vic) and the AMVC (Qld) organised an AOA event that was based in Albury Wodonga, and was held 7-11 September 2022. For an article on this event click here.
Austins Over Australia 2019
AOA 2019 was held in the picturesque Barossa Valley (Monday Sept 23 thru to Friday Sept 27, 2019) at Chateau Tanunda, 9 Basedow Road, Tanunda, SA. A report and stories from those AMVCQ members who attended AOA 2019 are in the articles section of our website.
